today is my baby brothers birthday. he would have been 31 today.
i find myself in the birthday card section of the store wondering what card i should buy him. i cant help myself but to read all of the ones to a brother from his seester. i finally find tha perfect card, it even comes with a 'I'm Bad to the Bone!' badge. its absolutely perfect. it made me LOL right in the aisle.
on tha inside it says: Absolutely Nothing! Happy Birthday Dude!
i have to stop myself before i actually throw it in my cart. i already have 4 other cards from his birthdays past. and yet it still feels normal to buy my lil brother a birthday card, even though i know he will never read it.

its crazy i know, but its almost therapeutic. i quickly add it to my cart and head to the check out.
